E-business
Electronic Business (e-Business) is any business, based on the usage of information technologies. E-business includes buying and selling products to the customers, marketing, financial analysis and collaborating with other business partners.
E-business, as any business has it’s own goals: to provide professional, personal or other services thus gaining profits and satisfying people’s needs.
The first definition of the term "e-Business" was suggested by Lou Gerstner and sounds as the conversion of key business processes by means of internet technologies.
Electronic business allows all companies to link their internal and external systems of data processing successfully, to work with suppliers and business partners more efficiently and to cover all requirements of their customers more quickly.
There are some business processes, included into E-business:
- electronic control of purchasing and supply chain;
- electronic order processing;
- client servicing;
- cooperation with business associates.
