Eldev at Web 2.0 Expo Conference in San Francisco

April 22-25, 2008 – a tremendous event in the world of web will take place in San Francisco, Moscone West.

Web 2.0 Expo provides business models, development frameworks and strategies which show how to take advantage of Web 2.0 concepts. It is the first event of this kind for technicians, designers, marketing and business specialists who are informed of the opportunities created by Web 2.0 technologies. Now the conference also takes place in Berlin, Tokyo, and New York. This year the program will focus on the following conversations: education, tradeshow, networking, and Launch Pad.

“It’s the very right time now to grasp, accept, and make the most of the opportunities provided by Web 2.0. And those who refuse to accept it can suffer from their own short-sightedness,” notes Mat Bondarenko, marketing manager of Eldev Software.

The idea of Web 2.0 can be associated with migration of a big amount of web sites from isolated information silos to the interlinked computing platform. Web 2.0 also includes a social element where users produce and spread content, normally with freedom to share and re-use.

The use of AJAX technologies made it possible to develop such web applications that fulfill some of the functions of a PC application. The Web 2.0 concept is also closely related to utilization of Web Services, web syndications, RSS-streams, mash-ups, labels, etc.
