This project implied not just scalable ERP application for LAN and wide area networks, but also the enhancement of functionality, adding such key elements as CRM module, Dispatch, Price Lists and Inventory Management, Timekeeping and Payroll, Accounting, Statistical Reports, PDA, etc.
Eldev specialists’ expertise allowed building easy-to-learn system which helps sales personnel to estimate quantities and pricing easily that are made automatically due to the PDA features. Furthermore, the Instant Historical Data Access functionality supposes that all data and historical information is archived and could be retrieved at any moment. This specialized ERP system is a client/server application for Windows OS for LAN at location’s office. Despite complex functionality and TCP/IP design of the transport layer, the system is still easily used on wide area network too. InstallShield wizards are deployed for the installation and upgrades of the applications. In addition, for offline work the PDA clients were developed, but the work keeps online synchronizations with the main system.
