The solution is aimed at both media content vendors and end users. The former present their products on the platform, the latter have web access (incl. mobile) to media content, and both share high quality audio formats and use real-time streaming.

System highlights:

Multi audio formats (FLAC, MP3, and OGG) and a sound converter engine;
Support of multiple media players and browsers;
Download Journal—this system tracks consumer activities and provides various statistical data;
Private Catalogue Browsing—consumers can browse their private catalogues online from mobile phones;
Music Content Download—consumers can download any song directly into their private catalogue using their mobile phone.

Java mobile application client API allows visitors to browse their music profile and download music directly from the web portal not only to mobile phones, but also to any remote device. Integration with external tools of media content providers is possible due to the included content provider API implementation.

The media portal is a J2EE web application based on open source Java technologies. The Moblie Client is a J2ME mobile application based on the MIDP 2.0 technology.
